Lots of job hunters might like to go back to a time where applying for work involved walking into a business and handing in your CV.
But how easy is it to find job vacancies by walking into shops and looking for wanted adverts?
We decided to find out by spending an hour wandering round Liverpool city centre looking for work.
Hunting out adverts in shop windows and vacancy boards in stores, we set about finding as many positions as possible in the city centre.
Our search yielded an impressive 13 jobs in an hour spent walking the streets of Liverpool.
