STATE – SPONSORED TERRORISM : NIGERIAN MILITARY IS CULPABLE. INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY MUST INTERVENE

It is widely upheld by the International community that the obligation of any country that practices democracy through the instrumentality of her security, especially the military must protect her citizens and properties from predators (aggressors) be it external or internal. It is however very unfortunate that in Nigeria, the military is being used by the government outside its statutory roles to enslave, torture and decimate the people.
For decades running, the Nigerian government through the military has shamelessly massacred scores of Biafrans that were peacefully exercising their constitutionally guaranteed rights for self-determination while others were abducted in the process with no traces of their whereabouts. Despite the fact that Amnesty International, several Independent Human Rights Bodies and concerned individuals have carried out their investigations and the atrocious evidences committed published. But the continuous denials by the Nigerian government which have trailed these indicting reports against the military leave more to be desired.
It is also on record which though has been concealed over time, the unimaginable menace committed against Biafrans in the so-called South East and South South regions by the Hausa-Fulani herders who go about maiming, killing, destroying and raping people at random with government protection. Following this array of uncurbed immorality and evil visited on a seemingly endangered specie of Indigenous population, the Northern Arewa Youths came up with their Quit Notice to all Biafrans resident in their domain and vowed to slaughter them if by October 1th, 2017, they failed to vacate their region. All these are at the knowledge of the government and her military with nothing whatsoever done to apprehend and punish the culprits, simply because they are of the Hausa-Fulani extraction. But the government with her military-killing terrorists have very conscientiously, been invading, intimidating, abducting, torturing and killing Biafrans for just expressing their desire for their separate homeland where the principles of freedom, justice and equity could be practiced and enjoyed. Biafrans in their innocence and peaceful dispositions have severally been subjected to all manner of terrorism, invasion, gruesome murder, rape, torture and incarceration. Their homes have severally been broken into by the Hausa-Fulani dominated Nigerian military detailed to Biafraland to carry out their annihilation project. This is majorly the agenda behind the ongoing deceptive military exercises code-named “Operation Python Dance II and Operation Crocodile Smile” in the entire South East and South South regions. These exercises are terroristic and well tailored acts aimed at wiping out Biafrans as a people.
The Nigerian military invaded the home of the supreme leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, killed unarmed and peaceful Biafran men, women and youths, destroyed property and shamelessly looted as much belongings of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his family members.
There are also undeniable cases of Boko Haram terrorists amidst other related crimes committed across Nigeria by the Hausa-Fulani militia, ably equipped by the Nigerian government which required the timely responses of the Nigerian military but never. Their training and professionalism only have bearing on the peaceful and civilised practices of innocent Biafran citizens, protesters and the family members of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) who are carrying out their rights of freedom as enshrined in the United Nations charter for oppressed people groups round the globe. Some Nigerian military personnel have even infiltrated the social media and threatened hunting, hurting and killing all those who oppose their terroristic and vampiric antecedents against the people. They have jettisoned the civilised roles of the 21st century military for the bizarre, crude and barbarous acts of criminality.
War planes and other sophisticated military hardwares which the Nigerian government requested and bought from other countries under the pretense of fighting Boko Haram terrorists are presently being deployed and used in the South-East and South-South regions (Biafraland) against perceived enemies of the Buhari’s government, harassing and killing Biafrans while the menace of Boko Haram terrorists hold sway in the North-East.
Biafraland is currently under the unrelenting siege of the terror agents of the government in military gears. The Nigerian military has turned the entire regions into a war zone. People are being terrorised, arrested and killed without restraint on daily basis by these seeming Islamic vampires in the military pointedly confirming their avowed jihadistic agenda. There are uncountable number of Biafrans who are presently languishing in prison cells without justice because they are Biafrans. People can no longer walk freely to their businesses, jobs or homes and even sleep peaceably at night because of the activities of these uniformed armed men. All these the Nigerian government through her military employed in their own belief, to checkmate the activities of Biafrans that are legally demanding their freedom through a REFERENDUM. But one thing is very sure. The WILL of a determined people can never be quenched.
With all these crude and inhuman treatments being employed by a government that professes to be practicing democracy, it is undoubtedly clear for all to note that the Nigerian military is a State-Sponsored terrorist organization which disguises as a people-oriented security outfit established for the killing of every law abiding citizen such as Biafrans. The illegal proscription of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) and it’s branding as a terrorist group by the Nigerian government and her military are indicative of the fact that they have got a well sought out plan to further decimate Biafrans under the guise of fighting crime in the society.
It is important to state here from the ongoing that the safety and security of Biafrans are no longer ensured in the enclave called Nigeria. There is urgent need therefore, for the International community and Human Rights Organisations to expeditiously galvanise efforts to come to the rescue of the Indigenous People Of Biafra whose lives are gravely endangered by the results of Nigerian State-Sponsored Terrorism through the military and the ongoing genocide being unleashed on Biafrans within Biafraland. The world should note that failure to heed the cry of the people is an approval and promotion of continued murder, injustice and dehumanisation of an Indigenous people of Biafra. The resultant effect of which can never be foretold.
