Pick your Nottingham Forest side to face Wolves at the City Ground

The Stadium of Light hasn’t been the happiest of hunting grounds for Nottingham Forest; that was until Tuesday night when the Reds collected their first success at Sunderland’s 20-year-old home.

A hard-fought 1-0 away win thanks to Daryl Murphy’s fine finish in the 86th minute ensured Mark Warburton’s side will return to City Ground action on Saturday with confidence restored after two straight defeats against Yorkshire clubs that spent the majority of last season challenging for the top six, in Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday.

Wolves arrive on Trentside on the back of a dramatic 3-3 draw with Bristol City at Molineux on Tuesday, having narrowly edged out Millwall three days before, and sit two points and four places above the Reds in fourth.

In each of the previous two outings, Mark Warburton has made five changes and must decide whether to keep faith with the side that began the game on Weirside, or include the three changes that enabled his side to kick on and win the game.

Barrie McKay, Jason Cummings and Zach Clough were all brought off the bench in the second half, with former Rangers man McKay setting up former Black Cat Murphy to snatch the winner.
