Paul Clement: ‘Swansea City clearly need more quality’


Paul Clement urges his Swansea City players to quickly move on from their thrashing at the hands of Manchester United, while also confessing that new recruits are needed.

Paul Clement has described the margin of Manchester United’s 4-0 victory as “harsh” on Swansea City, but admits that his side are in desperate need of new recruits.

The Swans were humbled on home soil during Saturday’s lunchtime kickoff in the Premier League, shipping three times in the final 10 minutes.

Clement is not entirely happy with his side’s transfer business to date and, with £45m collected from the sale of Gylfi Sigurdsson to Everton earlier this week, the 45-year-old is now hoping to strengthen over the next 12 days.
