Notts County chairman Alan Hardy has called on fans of Nottingham Forest to come and ‘track the progress’ of two of the Reds bright young stars next month.
The high-flying Magpies are second in League Two after a second successive home win at Meadow Lane on Tuesday night against Swindon, and Hardy has slashed ticket prices for the visit of Mark Cooper’s Forest Green Rovers.
Both Jorge Grant and Ryan Yates have impressed in the opening weeks of the season, and the Notts chief hopes that Reds fans will take advantage of the international break weekend on October 7 to go and see the pair in action.
It may also present the chance to see Forest’s Scottish under-21 international defender Alex Iacovitti lining up against Grant and Yates, with the 20-year-old spending the season on loan with the League Two newcomers.
“I’m really excited to experience my first Community Day at Meadow Lane, with our primary objective being to get as many people inside the ground as possible to create a carnival atmosphere,” said Hardy.
“We’ve reduced our ticket prices to £10 for all adults, while under 18s’ tickets are £5, under 12s’ are £1 and under sevens go free.
