Borrussia Dortmund feel a little hard done by after their 3-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.
Spurs could have scored more than they did, wasting a few very good chances along the way, but BVB had a goal harshly disallowed and some at the club think that could have been crucial.
Returning to Germany, Dortmund are bloodied and bruised, literally. Mario Gotze took a hand to the face from Jan Vertonghen, with the Tottenham defender picking up a second yellow card for it.
What initially looked like Gotze making the most of it, then became more serious when the blood appeared. Whether Vertonghen meant it or not, the BVB player was left with a few problems around the mouth area.
Dortmund manager Peter Bosz is quoted by Bild as saying: “He has problems with his teeth and will go to the doctor. That doesn’t look so good. Not all the teeth are in the right place. It hurts even when talking about it.”
