Jurgen Klopp refused to blame Dejan Lovren in the wake of Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Sevilla on Wednesday evening.
Liverpool were held to a point in their Champions League group stage opener and went behind after just five minutes after Wissam Ben Yedder capitalised on Lovren’s botched clearance inside the box.
Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah had put Liverpool in front by half-time but Joaquín Correa’s strike in the 72nd minute sealed a point for the visitors at Anfield.
