The newly-promoted side have enjoyed an incredible start to life in the Premier League, winning two and drawing one of their opening three games, but they suffered a first loss on Monday at the London Stadium.
Huddersfield will need to dust themselves down and move on quickly, according to Kachunga, as they prepare to host Leicester on Saturday.
The frontman insists the squad must learn from their mistakes if they are to adapt to life at the top level of English football and achieve their goal of avoiding relegation.
Kachunga said: “We will only adapt to this level if we give 100 per cent. Losing is always disappointing but you have to deal with it and learn a lesson from these kind of days, making sure you are better in the future.”
