A gunman drove for hours to arrive at a New Hampshire hospital and kill his mother, according to prosecutors.
Travis Frink is accused of murdering 70-year-old Pamela Ferriere Tuesday at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire, sending terror through the facility after opening fire in the intensive care unit.
Ferriere was being treated for an aneurysm at the hospital and expected to be released Friday before her son came to pay her a visit and allegedly told his stepfather Robert to leave the room.
Police say Frink, 48, then silently pulled a gun out and shot his mother as she screamed.
He then allegedly left the room without saying a word, and was arrested while leaving the hospital campus.
