A high school senior is up in arms after his school rejected his senior portrait because he’s holding a gun in it.
Avid hunter Wade Gelinas is disputing the Bonny Eagle High School policy that bans him from using his preferred portrait — a photo of him holding his shotgun.
“It’s just my sport. It’s just what I do. I don’t play football. I don’t play basketball. I just hunt,” Gelinas told NBC-affiliate WCSH.
Gelinas shared the photo he submitted on Facebook Tuesday and shared the school’s response with his friends and followers. “No you can’t put something like that in the yearbook,” he said the school told him.
