Everton Eye Sensational £30m Swoop For Arsenal Winger: The Right Man For Koeman?

Everton are already in the process of rebuilding their team for the next season and are willing to make it one of the strongest in the campaign, by signing some of the best players from the Premier League as well as the other leagues around Europe, to take on the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and defending champions Chelsea in the next term.

The Toffees have already made their intentions clear by signing six players already in the form of Jordan Pickford from Sunderland, Davy Klaassen from Ajax, Wayne Rooney from Manchester United, Michael Keane from Burnley, Henry Onyekuru from Eupen and Sandro Ramirez from Malaga. Now they are reportedly eyeing a winger and are poised to sign English star Theo Walcott from Arsenal.

The 28-year-old has been one of the mainstays in the attack for the Gunners for quite a long time, since his arrival at the club in 2006 from fellow Premier League outfit Southampton.

He has scored 104 goals in 383 appearances for the North London club in a glorious career which has extended over a prolonged 12 years. He has also won three FA Cups and one Community Shield with the Gunners in the span of his career so far.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman is well aware of the fact that a player like Walcott can be a good addition to the roster for them and can strengthen the team even more with his pace and prowess. Reportedly, the Merseyside club is looking to make a bid of £30 million for the English forward to bag him and include more striking options to the squad for the next season.

Though the 28-year-old has been a regular in the team for the Gunners, last season saw him used in bits and pieces role by the Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, which might indicate the fact that he might not be considered as the first choice in the squad in the next season as well. This might work in favour of the Toffees in their attempts to persuade the English international to join their club this the summer.

Farhad Moshiri, who has made it possible for the Merseyside club to make the big swoops in order to revamp the team for the next season, has already helped them spend £100 million in the transfer market, and might be interested to spend a some more bucks in order to add the talented Arsenal winger to the squad. But is he the right man for Everton?
