Spurs have finished fifth then third then second under the Argentine’s stewardship and continue to improve, most recently comfortably beating Champions League holders Real Madrid at temporary home Wembley.
Every first-team player bar Toby Alderweireld and Victor Wanyama has been rewarded with at least one improved contract since last summer and Eriksen – who scored a hat-trick for Denmark on Tuesday evening – says Tottenham is a perfect place for a player.
“He has given stability not only to me but to the whole club,” Eriksen told Sky Sports. “That’s the main thing for a player.
“You feel comfortable, you feel aware of everything around you and you don’t think about anything other than football when you’re on the pitch.
“All the players have long-term contracts. They feel safe being here. It’s why you commit your future to a place like this.”
