Musonda has recently hit the headlines for seemingly being critical of his lack of opportunities at Stamford Bridge, with just one start and two substitute appearances being given to the 20-year-old.
According to the London Evening Standard, Chelsea had hoped to send Musonda out on loan before the start of the season, only for the player to be keen on competing for a place in the first team.
