That is according to Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.
Coutinho wanted to go to Barcelona in the summer but Liverpool rejected all offers for him.
Barcelona CEO Oscar Grau sparked rumours earlier this week by saying they could go back in for Coutinho in the January transfer window.
However, Balague cannot see a deal happening in the winter, stating Liverpool would not entertain any offers until the end of the season.
He says Barcelona are looking at signing a couple of players, including one in the ‘Marco Verratti’ mould.
But thinks they could turn their attention from Coutinho to Griezmann to fill an attacking role.
“We do know Philippe Coutinho wanted to go to Barcelona and there was a plan for him to do so,” Balague said.
“I don’t see Liverpool getting rid of Coutinho in January at all. The summer is a completely different story.
